Delicious Tangy Chicken Salad

2 cups cooked and shredded chicken  1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped 1/4 cup grapes, halved 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Salt and pepper, to taste Lettuce leaves, for serving (optional) Croissants or bread, for serving (optional)

Ingredients

Cook the chicken until fully done, then shred it into bite-sized pieces. A rotisserie chicken can be used for added convenience.

In a spacious bowl, combine mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.

Add the shredded chicken, chopped celery, red onion, grapes, and toasted almonds to the bowl with the dressing.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the chicken salad for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
